Governor Murphy, State, County, and Local Officials tour Tropical Storm Henri damaged area in Monroe Township on Monday August 23rd, 2021(Edwin J. MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ (MIDDLESEX)–Governor Phil Murphy surveyed flood damage caused by Tropical Storm Henri in Monroe Township with Mayor Stephen Dalina and local officials. Information regarding the arrangements will be forwarded as it becomes available. He held several positions within the Local including a term as President. Lieutenant Trout was a member of IAFF Local 3451- Middlesex County Firefighter’s Association. Recently, Lieutenant Trout was named as the Unit’s Training Officer. Lieutenant Trout was with the Unit since 2002 and previously served as the Supervisor for “A” Shift. Trout earlier this morning while responding to a call for service. 
It is with deepest regret and sorrow that the Middlesex County Hazmat Unit reports the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Donald J. Since that time Middlesex County Firefighters Association/IAFF Local 3451 announced a line-of-duty death of one if its members on the Hazardous Materials Team. Middlesex County Hazmat was requested and responded to the scene.
